Your time and your unique gifts are so valuable to Guardian Angels and those we serve. We offer a variety of volunteer opportunities for individuals and groups. It is important that potential volunteers take time to consider all aspects of working with the senior population. We want to make sure that your placement is rewarding for both you and our residents.
We match our volunteers with the opportunity best suited to them and current needs in our communities. Every volunteer must complete an application, stating their desired areas of service and their availability. We will then interview applicants for open positions that meet the needs of the volunteer and Guardian Angels.
If accepted as a volunteer, a background study and New Volunteer Orientation are required prior to volunteering. Orientation will include information about residents’ rights, safety procedures, privacy practices, and volunteer conduct and commitment. We provide training to make each volunteer feel comfortable and excited about volunteering. Your commitment is important, and we are counting on you! Download a volunteer application and begin the process today.
We welcome students to volunteer with us. All junior volunteers must be at least 14 years old or volunteer with an adult. Download a student application.
